Support for additional payment solutions is in development.To make a payment using Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH), you generally need to buy the coin on an exchange first, and then send it to the payment address provided by the Escrow Service.
Here is the beginner’s guide for the two most popular platforms:
Coinbase.com
Binance.Com
Phase 1: Preparation (Same for both)
Before you can buy, you must set up your account.
Sign Up: Download the app or go to the website and create an account.
Verify ID (KYC): You must upload a photo of your ID (Passport/Driver’s License) and a selfie.
This is mandatory for all legal exchanges.
Add Payment Method: Link your Bank Account (lower fees, takes 1-3 days) or Debit/Credit Card (higher fees, instant).
Option A: Using Coinbase
Best for: Simplicity and beginners.
Step 1: Buy the Coin
Open Coinbase and click the "Buy / Sell" button (usually at the top or in the middle).
Select Bitcoin or Ethereum from the list.
Enter the amount of money you want to spend (e.g., $100 USD).
Select your payment method (Card or Bank).
Click "Preview Buy" to see the fees, then "Buy Now".
Step 2: Send the Payment
Click the "Send & Receive" button (or "Pay" tab on mobile).
Make sure the "Send" tab is selected.
Select Asset: Choose the coin you just bought (BTC or ETH).
To: Paste the Wallet Address provided by the person/website you are paying.
Note: Never type this by hand. Copy and paste it exactly.
Amount: Enter the amount of crypto or cash value you need to send.
Click "Continue" -> Review details -> "Send Now".
Option B: Using Binance
Best for: Lower fees and international users.
Step 1: Buy the Coin
Open Binance and click "Buy Crypto" on the home screen.
Choose "Credit/Debit Card" (easiest) or "Bank Deposit".
Select the coin (BTC or ETH) and enter the amount you want to spend.
Click "Continue" and confirm the transaction.
Step 2: Send the Payment (Withdrawal)
Go to your "Wallet" (bottom right on mobile) -> "Spot" (or "Funding").
Find your Bitcoin or Ethereum and click "Withdraw".
Select "Send via Crypto Network".
Address: Paste the recipient's wallet address here.
Network: This is critical.
For Bitcoin, select BTC (Bitcoin).
For Ethereum, select ETH (ERC20).
Warning: If you choose the wrong network, the money will be lost forever.
Amount: Enter the amount to send.
Click "Withdraw" -> Confirm with your security codes (email/SMS).
